Official JAMB cut off mark 2016/2017 for admission into any
universities, polytechnics,
College of education, and other institutions of your choice
has been released.
The announcement was approved by the Joint Admissions and
matriculation Board
(JAMB), all universities (Federal, State or Private) shall
accept candidates with
Minimum UTME scores
of 180. Alongside all Federal, State and Private Polytechnics,
Colleges of Education and other degree awarding institutions
will accept 150.
The permanent secretary, Ministry of Education, announced
the cut off after a vote by representatives of all institutions requiring JAMB
scores at a combined policy meeting in the Abuja office of JAMB.
Below is the cut-off points used for last admission by all
institutions we have;

1. All universities in Nigeria has been directed by joint
admission and matriculation board (jamb) that the minimum cut-off mark of all
state university in Nigeria is 180 and some federal universities. While some
federal universities like Federal university of agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB),
Obafemi Awolowo university (OAU), University of Benin (UNIBEN), University of
Ibadan (UI), University of Lagos (UNILAG), are to cut off 200.
2. All polytechnics in Nigeria are to cut off 150 and above
to be qualified to write post utme, and also to be qualified to gain admission
into any polytechnics of your choice.
3. All college in the same hand are to cut off 130 and above
to be qualified to write their post utme and also to have a high chance of gain
admission into any college of education of your choice.
